Northwest Chapter

Greetings and welcome to the National Property Management Association (NPMA) Northwest Chapter website.   The NPMA is the leading membership association for personal property and fixed-asset professionals.

Personal property professionals oversee the effective and efficient management of fixed-assets at local, state, and federal government agencies, colleges, universities, medical facilities, and private industries.

Companies and organizations around the world benefit from the strategic role of property professionals who are poised to be strong, integral parts of all organizational processes and contribute greatly to the bottom line.

NPMA is committed to building leadership through training, certification programs and educational opportunities.

Our Chapter membership is a diverse group, located mainly in western Washington State.  Ironically, approximately 37% of our membership resides outside the State of Washington in Alaska, Idaho, New Hampshire, Nevada and Hawaii, as well as remote locations such as Kwajalein, Iraq, Europe and Asia.

We offer the unique benefit of teleconferencing, as well as our virtual chapter meetings that allow a member to attend recordings of our general membership meetings, and obtain attendance credit.  This helps when members are certified as Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) or Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM), and need to renew their certification for another 5 years.  One of the easiest ways to meet the minimum criteria for renewal is to attend at least four chapter meetings per year.
